• The Toskan Casale foundation was formed (then called the Toskan Foundation)
• Foundation president, Julie Toskan Casale, is the first Canadian to complete The Philanthropy Workshop’s training program
• The idea for an experiential youth philanthropy program is born, and through consultation with expert educators, the Foundation develops a school-based curriculum for the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative.
